The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja ZX10-R has been showcased with Akrapovic exhaust at this year’s Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
The Akrapovic exhaust in the expo display bike is a carbon fibre unit and is expected to be lighter than the stock one. As per the part maker's website, Akrapovic exhaust systems deliver increased performance throughout the entire RPM range.
Kawasaki says the Ninja ZX10-R is “The closest thing to a World Superbike Champion machine.” It is a no brainer considering a plethora of electronics controls the 998cc inline four engine's 200 PS of power and 113.5 Nm of torque. The peak power comes in at 13,000 rpm while the torque at 11,500 rpm, channelled via a 6-speed transmission.
