A year after it was launched, Hyundai has showcased a sportier version of the India-made Hyundai i20 at this year's Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. The i20 Sport's accessories could be made optionally available from the dealership.
Finished in Polar White, the i20 Sport has a silver faux diffuser, larger roof spoiler, DRLs across the foglamps and multi spoke 16-inch alloy wheels, contrasting red bumper garnish, side skirts and a black vinyl finish across the doors. The interior features an all-black layout.
The Indonesia-spec Hyundai i20 features regular headlamps, dual airbags and ABS as standard across the range, an 8-inch AVN touchscreen display, Bluetooth telephony, steering mounted buttons, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment and push button start.
Under the hood is a 1.4L Gamma VTVT four-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 100 PS and 130 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox. The i20 is priced between 249.5 million rupiah and 263.5 million rupiah for the petrol MT and petrol AT variants, respectively.
