The facelift isn't major, but rather consists of small updates to the exterior and interior for a newer look. The exterior features LED headlamps with a pair of LED DRL strips each, re-designed front bumper, new 18 inch six twin-spoke alloy wheels shod with 255/60 R18 tires, and LED-powered taillights.

Inside, the design is identical to the outgoing model, but it now gets a dual tone beige and black color combination with bright beige leather upholstery for the seats, armrest and door cards, faux wood trim on the dashboard, gear lever and door cards, and a contrasting silver trim on the steering wheel and surrounding the center console. The 7-inch Kenwood infotainment system has been dropped for a new 8 inch touchscreen unit with smartphone mirroring options.

There are no changes to its engine lineup: it offers an option between a RZ4E-TC 1.9-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 110 kW (150 PS) and 350 Nm of torque and the 4JJ1-TCX 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine with 130 kW (177 PS) and 380 Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual is standard in the 1.9L variant, while a 6-speed Rev Tronic automatic is available in both. A four-wheel drive system is exclusive to the top-end 3.0-litre model.
