Kia's show-stopper at the 2017 North American International Auto Show is its Kia Stinger, an all-new 5-seat fastback sports sedan that sits in a segment dominated by European automakers. The South Korean automaker says that the Stinger is the highest-performance production vehicle in the company's history.

The Kia Stinger is production version of the Kia GT concept from the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Featuring a sensuous design which was overseen by Peter Schreyer, chief design officer, Kia Motors, the Kia Stinger is the company's new tourer poised to take on the BMW 4 Series Gran Turismo and the Audi A5 Sportback. It was designed in Frankfurt and developed on the Nurburgring. Aggressive front and rear fascias, rear-wheel drive proportions, low-slung body and a fastback silhouette give the 4-door coupe its character.

Key features indoors include height-adjustable colour head-up display, 3-spoke steering wheel, 7.0-inch UVO touchscreen infotainment system and 720-watt, 15-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system.
