Toyota Philippines has launched the facelifted version of the Toyota Wigo hatchback in the country. It is available in three variants: 1.0 E, 1.0 G and 1.0 G AT, for which prices range between Php 526,000 and Php 599,000.
The exterior incorporates a new front fascia that looks more contemporary and inline with Toyota's latest styling direction, featuring a large hexagonal grille with vertical slats, new projector headlamps, and a re-profiled engine hood. Also new is the Orange Metallic exterior colour seen above. At the back, it has an updated taillight cluster, new rear spoiler and sportier bumper.
The interior has also undergone a small overhaul, featuring new door trims and seat upholstery patterns. The touchscreen infotainment system available in the Wigo G grade has been updated, and the steering wheel gains buttons for the audio system.

Another upgrade made to the Wigo is under the hood, where the 1.0L motor gets dual VVT-i. Output, however, remains roughly the same as before: 66 hp at 6,000 rpm and 89 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. It can be had with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic.
