Skoda Auto has released the first video of the 2017 Skoda Octavia which offers another glimpse at the changes. The facelifted Skoda Octavia will be available to order in European markets from late-2016.

The facelift brings a newly designed front and rear section, a refreshed interior and several equipment revisions. The biggest change is the quad-headlight setup reminiscent of the old Mercedes-Benz cars. Besides the headlights, which will be available with full-LED technology optionally, revisions have been made to the radiator grille and lower grille as well on the front. At the rear, the tail lights have been given a tweak.
Inside, the 2017 Skoda Octavia features a new instrument cluster, and Swing, Bolero, Amundsen and Columbus infotainment systems - all with capactive displays. The Columbus infotainment system's features a 9.2-inch monitor. The facelift also brings added driver assistance technologies like Predictive pedestrian protection, Blind Spot Detection and Rear Traffic Alert to the car.
New Octavia buyers will also benefit from customizable key (with vehicle settings memory), heated steering wheel, folding tables for the rear-seat passengers (behind the driver and front passenger) and more such small features that increase the comfort and covenience.

The new Skoda Octavia will be available with five TSI petrol and four TDI diesel engines whose displacements range from 1.0 to 2.0 litres, with a maximum power output ranging from 63 kW (84 hp) to 135 kW (184 hp).
Deliveries of the new model in first markets will commence in early 2017, while its Indian rollout will be a part of the company's four launches in 2017.
