To arrive in showrooms across Europe in March 2017.
Nissan has taken the wraps off the fifth generation Nissan Micra at the 2016 Paris Motor Show today. Compared to the outgoing model, the new Micra takes a revolutionary jump with respect to exterior and interior.
Speaking of the exterior, the new Micra's styling is not too far off from the Nissan Sway concept, which is a good thing. As easily noticeable, the new Micra has grown in size. It measures 3,995 mm (+170 mm) in length, 1,742 mm (+77 mm) in width and 1,452 mm in height (-69 mm), and has a wheelbase of 2,525 mm (+75 mm).
The interior design looks nearly similar to the Nissan Kicks. It features body color-coordinated trim panels on the dashboard, new multifunction steering wheel, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration compatibility and 6-speaker Bose Personal sound system.

The new Micra will be available with the 90 hp 0.9 TCe three cylinder engine, 73 hp 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 90 hp 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine. It comes equipped with Nissan's Active Ride Control and Active Trace Control for reduced understeer and sharper handling. These features are sourced from the Nissan Qashqai.
