Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off the 2017 Mercedes GLA at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The latest model year update is a mid-life facelift to Mercedes' smallest SUV.
2017 Mercedes GLA features
The facelifted Mercedes GLA features new LED headlamps, new design grille, tweaked bumpers and new LED tail lamps on the outside. There's no mention of MULTIBEAM LED headlamps in the release, though. Interior changes include new seat covers and trim parts, chromed control panels, more strongly accentuated nozzle rings and updated instrument cluster with a new number design, 30 km/h stages in the speedometer and new needles with a black needle centre. Keyless entry and a 360-degree camera are newly available options.
2017 Mercedes GLA variants
The 2017 Mercedes GLA range includes a new model called GLA 220 4MATIC. It's powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 135 kW (184 hp) and 300 Nm of torque. Rest of the range includes GLA 180 (petrol), GLA 200 (petrol), GLA 250 (petrol), GLA 250 4MATIC, Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 4MATIC (petrol), GLA 180 d (diesel), GLA 200 d (diesel), GLA 200 d 4MATIC (diesel), GLA 220 d (diesel) and GLA 220 d 4MATIC (diesel).

2017 Mercedes GLA price & launch in India
The new Mercedes GLA is will go on sale in Germany today with prices ranging from €28,940.80 (INR 20,79,071.81) to €56,852.25 (INR 40,84,196.38). Its Indian launch should happen later this year.
