Will likely go on sale in the U.S. market in H2 2016.
The 2017 Lincoln Continental, the production version of Lincoln Continental Concept that was unveiled at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, has surfaced prematurely on the web in a leaked image, courtesy of Ford Inside News.
The car seen in the leaked image surely looks to have evolved from the Continental Concept, but this image could probably be of the entry-level model of the production version.
The Lincoln Continental Concept was powered by an "exclusive" 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 gasoline engine. It's production version, reports say, will be available exclusively with the Lincoln-exclusive 3.0-liter GTDI twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine that debuted in the 2017 Lincoln MKZ that premiered at the 2015 LA Auto Show in November last year. This engine produces up to 400 hp and 400 lb.-ft. (542 Nm) of torque in that vehicle.
