The 2017 Nissan Micra today was officially unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. With for the MY2017 update, the Nissan Micra has entered its fifth generation.
As expected, the Nissan Micra has evolved from the Nissan Sway Concept unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and incorporates the company's latest design language. The 2017 Nissan Micra measures 3,995 mm (+170 mm) in length, 1,742 mm (+77 mm) in width and 1,452 mm in height (-69 mm), and has a wheelbase of 2,525 mm (+75 mm).
V-motion grille, boomerang-shaped lights, floating roof, C-pillar integrated rear door handles and an extended roofline converging at the spoiler form some of the key features. Ten exterior colours will be available, and additional exterior and interior customisation options will result in 125 different variations of the car.
Noteworthy features of the 2017 Nissan Micra include 17-inch wheels, 5.0-inch screen for the instrument panel, 7.0-inch full colour infotainment system with satellite navigation and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration compatibility and 6-speaker Bose Personal sound system.
The 2017 Nissan Micra will be available with a 90 hp 0.9-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine, 73 hp 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 90 hp 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine. It will be built at Renault's plant in Flins, France, and go on sale in Europe from March 2017.
The AMEI (Asia, Middle East and India) region will get a different new generation Nissan Micra, which will be built in Chennai, India.
