Plans for a relaunch were expressed at Auto Expo 2016.
After making a comeback at the 2016 Auto Expo with virtually no cosmetic changes, the Honda CB Unicorn has been re-launched according to reports on thrustzone. The 150 cc bike will be sold alongside the existing 160 cc CB Hornet and CB Unicorn.

The 150 cc CB Unicorn was discontinued before the 160 cc versions took over, but thanks to continued demand, the bike has been relaunched at Rs 69,305 (ex-Showroom, New Delhi). The bike measures 2,095 mm in length, 1,100 mm in height, 756 mm in width and gets a 1,340 mm wheelbase. Weighing 146 kgs, the bike gets a ground clearance of 179 mm.
The Honda Unicorn is powered by a 149 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 13.14 BHP at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 12.84 Nm at 5,500 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

HMSI's motorcyles sales for June 2016 was a little more than half of its scooter sales. 1,42,702 motorcycles were sold, a growth of 27 percent over June 2015, while the company sold 2,65,439 units of scooters, up by 21 percent from June 2015.
