Will be launched early next year.
The current, third generation Skoda Octavia was introduced in the market in early-2013. Sometime next year, the third generation Octavia will be given its mid-life facelift and a set of speculative renderings from Bernard Car Design previews how the facelifted Octavia may look like.
As speculated in previous reports, the facelifted Octavia features a new front fascia with a new pair of twin headlights in a similar fashion to the previous generation Mercedes E-Class. Other apparent changes at the front include tweaked bumper and lower grille and sleek foglamps. At the rear, changes include new taillamps inspired by those of the all-new Skoda Superb's, tweaked liftgate and bumper, and a full-width reflector. Other updates may include new infotainment system, safety and assistance features and new upholstery.

The current four-cylinder petrol, diesel and petrol-CNG engine choices will likely continue with changes probably limited to some efficiency upgrades at best. A report from last year says that a new three-cylinder engine will also be introduced with maximum power output ranging from 90 to 120 hp, which will be 10% more fuel efficient than the currently offered four-cylinder engines.
