Toyota is showcasing the 2016 Toyota Innova with a six-seat layout at the 2016 Indonesia International Motor Show (2016 IIMS). Set to be launched as Toyota Innova Crysta, the second generation Toyota Innova will be available in two seating layouts in India: 7-seat and 6-seat. The 6-seat layout, seen in the images here from Paultan.org, will be a premium offering with those captain seats. The luxury of 2-2-2 seating layout is complemented by wood trim on various elements like the dashboard, back of the front centre console, rear doors and top of the tray tables. The centre row chairs have their own armrests.
The 2016 Toyota Innova measures 4,735 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. The new generation model is 150 mm longer, 70 mm wider and 35 mm taller, but retains its previous wheelbase. Spyshots indicate that the base offering for India will be powered by the 149 PS 2.4-litre GD diesel engine that delivers 342 Nm of torque with 5-speed manual transmission or 360 Nm of torque with 6-speed automatic transmission. Moving up the range, there may be a 2.8-litre diesel engine on offer as well. For sales in Delhi and NCR region mainly, there will be a petrol model too, arriving later this year.

The Toyota Innova Crysta has been confirmed for a launch in India next month. Noteworthy features of the all-new Innova include 17-inch alloy wheels, smart entry system with start/stop button, cruise control, 7-inch audio system with navigation, front seat with easy slide from rear, 1-touch tumble for 2nd row seats and 1-touch third row space up seats.
