A Toyota Innova Crysta was spotted on the Bangalore-Mysore highway, with no camouflage. The Innova Crysta is expected to launch in May.
Unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016, the Innova Crysta is basically the second generation Toyota Innova that replaces the current model, which has been discontinued. It measures 4,735 mm long, 1,830 mm wide and 1,795 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. Compared to the first gen Innova, it has grown by 150 mm in length, 70 mm in width and 35 mm in height, although the wheelbase is identical.
The pre-production model featured sports a "2.4" badge, suggesting that it is powered by the 2.4-liter GD diesel engine producing 149 PS and 342 Nm of torque with the 5-speed manual transmission or 360 Nm of torque with the 6-speed automatic transmission.

Other options also considered include a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that outputs 139 PS and 183 Nm of torque and a 2.8-liter GD diesel engine with 177 PS, as it was spotted for the first time on the Innova at the Auto Expo.
Bookings for Innova Crysta are being unofficially taken at several dealerships for INR 50,000, who are promising its delivery in May 2016.
