Hyundai has brought one of its most successful models to showcase at the Make in India event that highlights a manufacturer's commitment to the government campaign. The model in question is the 2016 Hyundai i20, which was recently updated with new features.
As part of the MY2016 update, the top-end Hyundai i20 Asta (O) gets projector headlamps with cornering lights and LED DRLs, which was only available in the Euro-spec Hyundai i20 and Indian-spec Hyundai i20 Active. With the increased awareness towards vehicle safety, Hyundai have made dual airbags standard across the range. Also, a new body colour called “Phantom Black" has been introduced.
While the lower grades get a music system with an LCD display, the top-end Asta (O) comes with an Audio Video Navigation 7.0-inch touchscreen display that was introduced in 2015. Bluetooth telephony continues to be standard in Magna and variants above it

Under the hood, the i20 continues to offer the 1.2-litre petrol Kappa engine with VTVT paired to a five-speed manual gearbox, and a 1.4-litre U2 diesel motor with a six-speed manual transmission.
As for pricing, the 2016 Hyundai i20 starts from INR 549,350 to INR 860,898 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
