Will likely be launched in China this October.
Lexus has showcased the 2016 LX 570 at the 2015 Chengdu Motor Show. The SUV was unveiled at Pebble Beach this August and is expected to be launched in China by October this year.
The LX 570 gets a bold fascia with the massive single-piece spindle grille taking most of the view. It is outlined by a satin chrome finish and is flanked on either side by LED headlights with LED DRLs. The face also gets newly designed turn indicators and foglamps. New 20-inch alloy wheels, revised taillamps and rear bumpers round off the changes.
The interiors have been lavished with LED ambient lighting, manual sun shades on the second row and three-spoke wood-trimmed steering wheel. The electronics are the 12.3-inch infotainment system, 4.2-inch instrument cluster, multimedia with Remote Touch Interface, head-up display and panoramic view camera.
The engine powering this SUV is a 5.7-liter V8 producing 383 bhp and 546 Nm of peak torque. The drive is transferred to the wheels courtesy of an 8-speed automatic gearbox in place of the old 6-speed unit. The engine can deliver 90 per cent of its torque output at 3,600 rpm while the vehicle has a towing capacity of 7,000 pounds (3,175 kg).
There are a host of safety systems found on the LX 570 as standard due to the Lexus Safety System+. This package has features such as All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Intelligent High Beam.
