Restricted to only 250 units.
MINI has launched a limited-edition MINI Countryman called 'MINI Countryman Special Edition' in the UK. Only 250 units of this special Countryman will be made.
This model is developed as part of the automaker’s Special Order programme that enables ordering of special edition models directly through MINI retailers. On the outside, it is differentiated by Space Grey metallic roof and mirror caps as well as Absolute Black metallic body colour and black 18-inch 5-star double-spoke alloy wheels.
The interior gets an all-black theme with the surfaces finished in Piano Black and the leather upholstery for the seats taking on a Gravity-Carbon Black finish. A host of additional equipment and features come as standard with this special edition. This includes MINI Navigation System, MINI Connected, voice control, Bluetooth with USB audio, front seat heating, multi-function steering wheel, Xenon headlights and automatic climate control.
The MINI Countryman Special Edition can be had in two specifications – MINI Cooper S ALL4 Countryman or MINI Cooper SD ALL4 Countryman. The Cooper S Countryman is powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 190 hp (141 kW) and 177 lb.-ft. (240 Nm) of torque. Alternatively, the Cooper SD Countryman sources power from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that churns out 143 hp (106 kW) and 225 lb.-ft. (305 Nm) of torque. Both engines can be paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission that work with All4 all-wheel drive system to distribute power to the wheels.
MINI has not disclosed the prices yet but the car is available to order from MINI retailers in the UK.
