D-Styles is the official dealer partner in Nepal.
Piaggio India today launched the Vespa scooter in the mountain kingdom of Nepal. Two models, the Vespa VX and the Vespa S were launched for a price of NPR 2,49,946 and NPR 2,63,946 respectively. D-Styles, a part of the Dev Jyoti Group, will act as the official dealer for Piaggio India in Nepal.
The company has made the Vespa VX available in five colours – Lime Yellow, Portovenere Green, Dragon Red, Monte Bianco White, and Midnight Blue, while the Vespa S gets 4 colours, Taormina Orange and Matt Black apart from the white and red from the above list.
The Vespa VX was launched in India in July 2013 at a price of Rs 71,380. The scooter is powered by a 125 cc 3-valve single cylinder four-stroke petrol engine that makes 10 PS and produces 10.6 Nm of peak torque. Power is transferred to the wheels via a CVT box. With a fuel tank of around 8 litres, Piaggio promises a range of around 400 km on a full tank. Up front is a 200 mm disc brake while the rear features drum brakes.
The Vespa S was launched in March 2014. The engine, transmission, and brakes remain the same, and except for a red suspension at the front, and a squarish headlamp that distinguish the Vespa S from the VX.
