Tata Motors today announced that the Ace SCV (Small Commercial Vehicle) has completed 10 years in the market, and the Ace family has over 1.5 million customers.
Launched in 2005, the Ace has a market share of 85 percent, and one in 5 commercial vehicles sold in India is an Ace. Available in load-lugging and passenger-carrying variants, the Ace family spans 12 models and includes the Ace HT, Ace EX, Ace CNG, Ace High deck, Ace DICOR NA, Ace DICOR turbo, Ace Zip and Super Ace Mint in the load-carrying segment and Magic HT, Magic CNG, Magic IRIS and Magic IRIS CNG in the passenger-carrying segment.
The Ace is sold in India across 1,600 showrooms, while it is exported to 28 countries across ASEAN, African and South Asian markets. Production of the Ace during its launch in 2005 was at 30,000 units/annum, while now, Tata's plant in Pantnagar (Uttarakhand) churns out 500,000 units of the SCV every year.

Tata says in its press release that it will continue to develop the Ace on three "core vectors" - DesigNext, PerformanceNext and FuelNext. The Ace received a major facelift in October 2013.
