The VGT-equipped 1,461 cc diesel engine comes in two output states - 110 PS & 245 Nm and 85 PS & 200 Nm. The former is paired to a six-speed manual transmission, while the latter makes do with a five-speed unit. The 85 PS car delivers an ARAI-certified mileage of 21.04 km/l, while the 110 PS car delivers 19.98 km/l. An automatic transmission or a petrol variant is not available.

The top-end Lodgy, like the Duster, gets the Bluetooth and USB enabled MEDIANAV system that serves entertainment, navigation and communication functions.

The seats are upholstered with Fume & Beige Alpaga leather (and normal fabric in the 8-seater), while the car comes with cruise control and speed limiter, dual AC with 2nd and 3rd row vents, reverse parking sensors, reverse camera, and dual front airbags with ABS, EBD and Brake Assist.
