Inside, the Extremo comes with new standard and optional features such as ventilated front seats, three-zone air conditioning system, adaptive cruise control, and a docking station Qi Wireless charging for supported devices.
The car is powered by a 2.0-liter 4 cylinder motor with D4-S direct injection and a new VVTi-iW variable valve timing system. The new motor develops 167 hp and 199 Nm (a 20 hp and 9 Nm increase over the outgoing model
), and comes paired to a new 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The Toyota Camry Extremo is priced at THB 1.429 million (INR 27.29 Lakhs), and is slotted under the more powerful Camry 2.5G. The facelifted Camry will be launched in the Indian market this year.
