The 2015 Mercedes C Class estate has made its Thai debut at the recently concluded Thailand International Motor Expo 2014. The station wagon is produced at the automaker's Bremen plant in Germany.
The Estate is significantly lighter than its predecessor, thanks to the new MRA (Modular Rear wheel drive Architecture). Further, 50% of the premium estate body work is made of aluminium.
The practical C Class variant can gobble up 490 litres of luggage, and with the rear seats folded the boot capacity expands to an impressive 1,510 litres. The car measures 4,702 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, 1,457 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,840 mm.
The powertrain lineup is shared with the sedan sibling. The range includes four-cylinder petrol, diesel and diesel hybrid engines with a 6-speed manual or 7G-Tronic automatic transmission.
