Certain features have been deleted to arrive at the price.
Jaguar today launched the XF Executive Edition in India priced at INR 45.12 lakhs, ex-Showroom, Mumbai, pre-Octroi. The model slots below the XF 2.2L Luxury Edition.
The Executive Edition is powered by the same 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 187 bhp at 3,500 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm matched to an 8-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The XF Executive accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds, which is again identical to the regular 2.2 variant.
Changes lie only in the features of the car, some of which have been left out to arrive at this competitive price. To list them, the XF Executive's wing mirrors do without the memory function as does the driver seat which is only 4-way adjustable as compared to the Luxury model's 6-way adjustable seat. The seats themselves are finished in a Suede cloth rather than in leather.
The Executive edition misses out on a reverse camera, sunroof and TV tuner as well. Finally, rear passengers will not be able to adjust the front passenger seat by way of the comfort button, and the mood lighting system on the Executive edition is a basic one as compared to the Luxury's premium unit.
