The Suzuki Celerio Custom, an aggressively kitted up version of the compact car, has been showcased at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2014.
The customized hatchback comes painted in a purple metallic with a black bonnet and roof. The front gets a larger grille and bumper with new red accented meshing, red chin air splitter and massive foglight enclosures with LED running lights.
In profile, the spruced up Celerio sports five-spoke dual-tone chrome-red alloy wheels, red ORVM housings, skirts and lower body decals. A roof-mounted black spoiler, pseudo air intakes on the bumper and a diffuser with faux dual exhaust pipes complete the visual enhancements. The interior has not been revealed.
The Celerio Custom demonstrates the global small car's flexibility in adopting accessories. The car stays intact under the skin.
The Thai-made Celerio is powered by the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder K-Series petrol engine as the India-made car. The motor manages to output 68 PS (67.04 bhp) and 90 Nm of torque with a 5-speed manual unit as the standard transmission option. While the Indian model offers an AMT option, the Thailand-spec car gets a conventional CVT.
Suzuki's Thailand production additionally caters to the Celerio's European demand.
