Is a fully loaded special edition.
Completing Nissan’s lineup of debuts at the 2014 Paris Motor Show is a new Qashqai special edition, called the Nissan Qashqai SV1.
Limited information has been released about the SV1 which has many safety and comfort features, including Nissan Safety Shield and Around View Monitor, as standard.
The engine powering the SV1 could either be the 1.5-liter K9K diesel or the 1.6-liter diesel, that output 110 hp and 130 hp respectively on current Qashqai variants. It is hooked to the XTRONIC continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Features on the SV1 variant include an automatic climate control, push-button start, steering-mounted controls for audio, cruise control and an electric parking brake. Also on offer is the new NissanConnect infotainment that offers a seven-inch touchscreen display and internet connectivity.
The Qashqai was unveiled in November last year and set out on the European marketplace in February. Riding on the Renault-Nissan's CMF (Common Module Family) platform it weighs 40 kg less and measures 49 mm longer than its predecessor and comes only as a five-seater.
