Show editions add a twist to the popular models.
PT Toyota Astra Motor has on display two interesting special editions of its best selling MPVs Innova and Avanza. The people movers are given cosmetic changes to catch the attention of the show goers. Its unclear if these will be launched in the marketplace.
Toyota Avanza special edition
The show edition Avanza has a concept-like appearance with a closed front-end (conceivably for bettering aerodynamics), split foglamps, projector headlamps, and has chrome brackets in the grille area. The wheels are uprated and the side and rear sport confetti style graphics. The car is fitted with a roof rack and a large rear spoiler.
The interior is upholstered in a tan brown with cream inserts. Rear passengers are treated to individual screens on the seat backs and the rear seats are individually adjustable. A chiller is placed in the boot area with space to stow two wine flutes.
Toyota Innova special edition
The detailing on the Innova special edition is not as intricate as the Avanza. Based on the 'V' variant, notable features here include side body stripes, front and rear skirts, TRD Sportivo wheels, chrome rub-rails, rear parking sensors, roof spoiler, and captain seats.
This Innova gets its power from a 2.0-liter petrol engine producing 136 bhp and 183 Nm of torque.
