The VW Multivan Alltrack concept has been unveiled on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show at the VW Group Night. The concept is a commercial van that features 19-inch wheels, a "Moonstone Mother of Pearl Effect" body color, and 4MOTION all-wheel drive and off-road technology.
The Multivan is powered by a 2.0 L TDI diesel engine tuned to produce 180 PS. Power is transferred via a Haldex multi-plate coupling mounted on the rear axle. The vehicle's approach angle is 21 degrees and the departure angle is 15 degrees.
The Multivan features a robust design with front bumpers offset in grey, integrated underbody protected in matt silver contrast, protective side strips and sill protectors. The interiors are appointed with grey-blue leather seats, dark brown genuine wood boat floor and aluminium trim.
The infotainment system is accessed through a capacitive 8-inch touchscreen. The cabin also gets a Dynaudio Surround Sound system.
Volkswagen say that the cabin is very flexible and it can be used to securely mount a mobile kitchen module that provides a gas cooker and a fresh water tank. The entire module is removable for use outside the vehicle.
