Hyosung has announced its plans for the Auto Expo 2014. First up is the launch of the Aquila 250, followed by the display of the GD 250 N and the RT 125 D bikes.
If launched later, the Hyosung RT 125 D and the GD 250 N, like all of Hyosung's two-wheelers that are sold in India, will be assembled out of its plant near Satara in Maharashtra.
The RT 125 D is a dual purpose bike that gets its power from a single-cylinder four-stroke 124 cc engine that develops 13.50 hp and is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The RT 125 D is a 2012 model is Euro 3 compliant.
The RT 125 D's steel frame is attached to telescopic fork suspension at the front and a swing arm suspension at the rear giving it a dry weight of 125 kg. The RT 125 D measures 1,125 mm in height, 2,185 mm in length, a wheelbase of 1,430 mm and has a ground clearance of 230 mm. The bike's off-roading capabilities are evident with its wheel that measures 130/80-18 at the front and 180/80-14 at the rear.
The Aquila 250 is powered by an oil-cooled four-stroke DOHC engine that develops 26.21 hp.
It was previously revealed that Hyosung will launch the GV250 cruiser at the Auto Expo 2014. The GV250 cruiser is set to become India's first cruiser in the 250 cc category.
