Breaking – La Ferrari steals the show at Geneva
As a toddler, those wheeled machinery fascinated me even before I knew what they’re called as! So here I’m, petrolhead by birth, Mechanical engineer by qualification and automotive reporter by profession!
Hold on to your seats tight boys and girls as we bring you the first exclusive pictures of the La Ferrari (“The Ferrari” in Italian) , hitherto codenamed as the F150, straight from the launch floor at Geneva.
La Ferrari is the meanest, baddest, fastest and the most powerful road legal supercar ever to roll out of that factory from Maranello. We at Indian Autos Blog has managed to dodge our way past the crowd of auto journalists from world over to give our readers the first look of the brand new prancing horse, so here you go, feast your eyes!
Being a spiritual successor of the iconic Enzo, the design of the new prancing horse is a pure masterstroke, a chapel where the laws of aerodynamics gets married to the curves of aesthetics. And the stuff under that scintillating shell is no less exciting either.
The car is powered by a 6.3 litre V12 engine which joins hand with a formula one derived HY-KERS (HYbrid – Kinetic Energy Recovery System) to deliver a colossal 963 bhp. Now that’s some serious horse power to play with!
Pointers from the launch floor – La Ferrari
- Combined power output of 963 bhp
- 0-100 kmph in under 3 seconds
- More than 700 customers were shortlisted out of which 499 selected
- Gull wing door
Got smitten? Planning to dissolve all your immovable assets to get this mobile masterpiece? Don’t rush, as Ferrari will make only 499 of them and the cars are already sold to hand picked Tifosi’s. But you can download the wallpaper from us for free though 😉
Please comeback again for more pictures!
