First Sketch of Volkswagen NMS (New Mid-Size Sedan)

David David,

VW NMS

American television station WRCB has managed to get hold of a sketches lying around on Volkswagen NMS designer’s desk. Seen before in the form of a test mule, the NMS (temporarily called the New Mid-size Sedan) will be a car built for America at America (VW’s new plant at Tennessee, Chattanooga) and by the radical looks of this sketch, is obviously designed by an American as well.

The NMS which was meant to be strategically placed between VW Jetta and Passat(as a Honda Accord & Toyota Camry competitor), begs to be a ‘Muscle Car’. Volkswagen had earlier revealed that the NMS was also being developed for Asian markets including India. If this car is to come in future (maybe 2011?)- we don’t have any trouble waiting for it, do we?
