Following the launch of the Polo Beats Edition, Volkswagen South Africa has introduced another limited edition car. It is based on the less expensive VW Polo Vivo Trendline variant and is called the Vivo 'Storm Edition'.
Priced at ZAR 187,300, it is ZAR 7,800 more expensive than the regular Trendline variant. For that, it comes with foglamps with chrome surrounds, 15-inch “Tosa” alloy painted in gloss black, gloss black ORVM caps, “Storm” decals across the side profile, and chrome-tipped twin exhaust pipes.
The interior has a dual tone 'ceramique' and black dashboard, leather-wrapped steering wheel, gear lever and handbrake lever, roof lining in anthracite color and 'three tone' seats. The audio system comprises of four speakers and support USB, radio, CD, SD-card and Bluetooth playback.

Under the hood is a 1.4L MPi four cylinder engine that produces 63 kW (84.4 hp) and 132 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, and capable of averaging a mileage of 6.2L/100 km.
The Vivo is the 4th generation VW Polo that is produced exclusively in South Africa since 2010.
