Launch expected to take place next week.
Gaadiwaadi has posted images of the Toyota Innova Crysta petrol variant at a dealer stockyard, ahead of its launch expected to take place next week.
The only differentiation is the '2.7' badge on the tailgate, further confirming that under the hood is a 2.7L four cylinder petrol engine with Dual VVT-i. The same engine in the Middle East-spec Innova produces 164 hp and 25 kgm of torque. As for transmission, the base G trim is available with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the V trim is only fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox and the top-end Z trim gets the 6-speed automatic only.
The arrival of the Innova Crysta petrol variant will finally enable TKM to introduce the second gen MPV in the Delhi NCR region, as the NGT ban on registration of diesel-powered cars displacing over 2000 cc has affected the launch of the 2.4 and 2.8 Innova Cysta diesel variants in one of their most important regions.
