Petrol variant to join the lineup this month.
Toyota has sold 7,800 units of the Toyota Innova Crysta in July 2016, accounting a major extent of the overall domestic sales of 12,404 units, which is a 2.76 percent increase over the same month last year.
Speaking on the sales performance, Senior Vice-President (Sales & Marketing) Mr. N Raja said:
We had to shut down production at our Bidadi plant on July 30 on account of Karnataka bandh in the absence of which our growth would have been more in terms of sales. Although the new Innova Crysta has been doing well, the ban on registration of diesel vehicles has stalled the extent of growth.
Currently, new customers will have to endure a two month waiting period to receive their Toyota Innova Crysta. This month, deliveries of the petrol variant will commence, thus enabling TKM to finally introduce the Innova Crysta in the Delhi NCR region.
