Likely to be a mild-hybrid system comprising of an ISG (Integrated Starter Generator).
Akito Tachibana, managing director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, has divulged to Hindustan Times that the company will introduce hybrid variants of the Toyota Innova Crysta and Toyota Fortuner, although he hasn't given a launch date.
The system introduced is likely to be a mild-hybrid system comprising of an ISG (Integrated Starter Generator), instead of Toyota's full-fledged Hybrid systems that power the Camry and Prius. It will feature regenerative braking, auto start/stop system, and torque assist.
This not only improves fuel efficiency of the large diesel engines powering the duo, but it allows Toyota to claim the central government's FAME tax incentives that could help lower the price. It's unclear if the hybrid system will be exclusive to the India-spec models, or introduced in the Innova and Fortuner sold in other markets. This year it was reported that Toyota was exploring a hybrid drivetrain option for the next gen Toyota Hilux, which forms the base for the Innova and Fortuner.

As for the Corolla Altis, Toyota may introduce the full-fledged hybrid variant featuring a system similar to the Camry Hybrid, while the Platinum Etios and Etios Liva could come equipped with it later on. However, the imported Toyota Land Cruiser and Land Cruiser Prado are not expected to feature such a system.
