The Toyota Glanza will be available with two engines. The other will be the BS-VI 1.2L Dual Jet Dual VVT four-cylinder petrol powerhouse that features a dual-battery mild-hybrid system and churns out 66 kW (89.74 PS) and 113 Nm of torque. Linked to a 5-speed MT as standard, it will be available in only the G grade.
As in the Maruti Baleno, the petrol variant will return 21.01 km/l (MT)/19.56 km/l (CVT) and the petrol-electric mild-hybrid will have a fuel economy rating of 23.87 km/l. In total, five configurations will be offered: G, G CVT, V and V CVT.
