Toyota has launched a limited edition Toyota Fortuner 60th Anniversary Edition in the UAE. These images, snapped by Indian Autos Blog reader, Mr. Nitin, show the limited edition SUV with integrated LED daytime running lights.
Aside from the LED DRLs, this edition gets a badge on the bootlid, leather seats with embroidery and a rear seat entertainment package.
Power comes from a 2.7-liter four-cylinder petrol engine capable of 158 bhp at 5,200 rpm and 246 Nm of torque at 3,800 rpm, matched to a 4-speed automatic transmission. It is priced at 106,000 Dirhams (INR 18.03 lakhs).
For the Indian market, Toyota launched an entry-level Fortuner with the Innova's 2.5-liter diesel engine, in January this year. TKM (Toyota Kirloskar Motor) sells a wide array of variants (2.5- and 3.0-liter, 2WD and 4WD, MT and AT gearboxes) of the Fortuner, which happens to be the segment leader at the moment.
