Powered by the 1.5-liter petrol engine.
Toyota South Africa (Toyota SA) has launched a limited edition on the Etios hatchback (Etios Liva) called the Toyota Etios Sport. Restricted to 200 units, the Etios Sport sees the inclusion of a full bodykit. The variant is priced at 153,500 Rand (INR 8.49 lakhs).
The front bumper is given a chin spoiler complemented with new surrounds extending near the foglight enclosure. In India, a similar bumper design is seen on the TRD Sportivo model). The car gets 15-inch alloy wheels apart from a side skirt itself. The rear bumper too gets a spoiler, but with a diffuser-like look. Completing the exterior changes are a roof spoiler and 'Sport' badging.
Inside, the Etios Sport benefits from an upgraded audio system (already on offer in India) which features Bluetooth, USB, AUX-in and CD/MP3.
There are no mechanical upgrades in store, and the Sport continues to be powered by the 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine which pushes out 88.7 bhp at 5,600 rpm and 132 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm, matched to a 5-speed manual transmission. In India, this engine is offered exclusively on the Etios Liva TRD Sportivo variant, though all variants of the Etios sedan can be had with this motor.
