Dealerships started accepting bookings for the Toyota Etios Cross, that launched at the Auto Expo, on the 6th of February. The company announced at the Auto Expo that prices and deliveries would be communicated in May. A booking can be made for a deposit of 50,000 rupees.
Bearing the tagline 'Born with attitude' the Toyota Etios Cross is a visually aggressive variant of the Etios Liva hatchback, and now gets a dedicated website for prospective customers.
The Etios Cross will be available in three engine options -
- 1.5L Petrol that develops 90 PS @ 5600 rpm
- 1.2L Petrol that develops 80 PS @ 5600 rpm
- 1.4L Diesel that develops 68 PS @ 3800 rpm
The exterior of the Etios Cross is enriched with a grille guard, side cladding, diamond-cut alloy wheels, roof rails, rear bumper cladding and foglamps that feature turn indicators.
The interior differs from the hatchback through the use of a piano black color on the dashboard and seats and white stitching on the seats which also bear the brand logo. Features on the Etios Cross such as 2-DIN audio with Bluetooth, USB and Aux-In and multifunction steering wheel come from the inventory.

The Etios Cross launches in a new 'Inferno Orange' color in addition to seven existing color options. Safety features like dual front airbags, ABS and EBD would also be extended on the Cross variant.
