Tata Motors has launched new grades of the Tigor with AMT in India - XMA and XZA+. The new grades are priced at INR 6.39 lakh* and INR 7.24 lakh* respectively.
The XMA and XZA+ grades with AMT are equivalent of the XM and XZ+ grades with MT. The XM and XZ+ grades retail at INR 5.95 lakh* (petrol)/INR 6.85 lakh* (diesel) and INR 6.80 lakh* (petrol)/INR 7.70 lakh* (diesel) respectively.
Both new grades offer a Harman-tuned music system with Bluetooth connectivity, reverse parking sensors, foldable rear armrest with cupholders, dual airbags, speed sensing door locking and more. ABS with EBD and CSC and reverse parking sensors are also included in both grades. The XZA+ grade of the Tigor includes 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, auto-fold ORVMs, projector headlamps, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and an 8-speaker sound system by Harman as well.
The Tata Tigor is available with a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine and a 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel engine. The petrol engine is a naturally aspirated three-cylinder unit producing 85 PS at 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. The diesel engine is a turbocharged three-cylinder unit developing 70 PS at 4,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 1,800-3,000 rpm. 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual are the transmission choices. The latter is available only on choosing the petrol engine.

Tata Motors is now gearing up for the launch of the Altroz, the new hatchback that will replace the Bolt. At the same time, it is working on the mid-cycle refresh and the BS-VI upgrade for the Tigor.
