The Storme gets a Stealth fighter style look.
Tata Motors is displaying a modified Safari Storme at the 2014 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS 2014). Modified cars like the Storme and the 3-door Vista would be used to attract curious visitors to the Tata stall.
The front fascia of the Storme gets the Stealth fighter style makeover with LED elements for the headlights and foglights and a protruded bumper. Position lights have been placed on the roof rails on this Matte-Black Safari Storme for added appeal.
Over to the sides, large chrome wheels and silver covers for the door handles are seen, while the rear gets a new bumper and masks for its taillight clusters. Inside, the Storme gets a dual-tone black and white interior theme for the dashboard and seats with the steering wheel, gearlever, door handles and rear AC vents getting white plastic inserts.
The Safari Storme in Indonesia, like the Indian model, is powered by the 2.2-liter four-cylinder VariCOR diesel engine which produces 140 PS (138.02 bhp) at 4,000 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 1,700 rpm. The transmission is a 5-speed manual unit.
The regular Safari Storme is priced at 293.4 million IDR (INR 14.82 lakhs) on-road in Jakarta.
