On Saturday we reported about the Tata Nexon Rose Gold Edition that has been showcased by S.R Tranzcars, the authorised Tata Motors dealer in Coimbatore, at its showroom. IAB learns that the dealership has set the price of the customisation at Rs 1.26 lakh. The dealership can come up with more units of the Nexon Rose Gold Edition, depending on the demand for this bespoke model.
Staying true to its name, the custom Tata Nexon by S. R. Tranzcars sports a fully body rose gold wrap, which, as per the dealership, has been imported for this modification. The front fascia of the Tata Nexon Rose Gold Edition carries a gloss black paint finish for the lower air dam, the fog lamp housings, and the lower air dam. This is not all as the black paint treatment extends to the Tata badge on the grille and to the foglamps.
The Tata Nexon Rose Gold Edition rides on a set of black multi-spoke alloy wheels that look sportier than the stock ones. In compliance with the front fascia, the ORVM housings and the roof rails receive a black paint finish. The roof and the beltline have been wrapped in a slightly darker shade of rose gold.
At the rear, the faux silver trim below the windscreen receives the rose gold treatment. The customizer has taken the rose gold theme so far that even the Tata badge has been given the treatment.
On the inside, the dealership appoints premium leather upholstery and a velvet roof moulding. The interior has a dual-tone primary colour scheme along with a gloss black trim. Other than these cosmetic updates, the Tata Nexon Rose Gold Edition doesn't have changes.

The Tata Nexon is on sale in a price bracket of Rs 6.16 lakh - 10.59 lakh. It's available in two engine variants - 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel. Both the motors offer two transmission choices- 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT.
Standard colour options for the Tata Nexon include - Etna Orange, Vermont Red, Moroccan Blue, Seattle Silver, Glasgow Grey and Calgary White. The high-end XZ and XZ+ trims offer two roof colour options - Sonic Silver and Ivory White - on select colour schemes. Tata Motors has teased a Neon Green which should be in showrooms this month.
