In April this year, Tata Motors rolled out an update for the Nexon's entertainment system and some aspects of its hardware. In that update, silicon pads were inserted in the headlamp housing to keep the wiring harness from touching the projector unit, issues with Bluetooth connectivity and 'freezing' of the touchscreen were addressed, and finally, the plastic battery cover of the key fob available with the Smart Key on the XZ+ trim was replaced as well.
The Tata Nexon is available with a 1.2-liter Revotron turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-liter Revotorq diesel engine. Both engines are available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automated manual transmission driving the front wheels. The petrol is good for 110 PS and 170 Nm of torque, and the diesel is rated at 110 PS and 260 Nm of torque.
