The Tata Harrier was launched in the Indian market in January this year. Though it received much appreciation for its bold and modern looks, its new rivals MG Hector and Kia Seltos have stolen the limelight away from it. Soon, Tata Motors will the Harrier a more appealing product by introducing a five year/unlimited kilometres extended warranty package called PentaCare.
The PentaCare package will be priced at INR 25,000. Tata Motors is said to introduce new offers like INR 35,000 exchange bonus, a corporate discount of INR 15,000, 100% on-road finance and a monthly EMI plan of INR 24,000 also for the Harrier. A number of new promotional campaigns will be introduced in these two months to draw more attention towards its flagship SUV.
Furthermore, Tata Motors is offering free updates for the existing Harrier customers which include NVH tuning for improved sound insulation, new R10.X software update for the 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering tuning for improved feedback, feel and responsiveness and clutch adjustment for optimal response. The company has also launched the Harrier Dark Edition at INR 16.76 lakh*. The Dark Edition is based on the top-spec Harrier XZ trim.

The Tata Harrier will be introduced in several new mechanical configurations. There will be a more powerful, 170 PS version of the 2.0-litre diesel engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission and 18-inch alloy wheels coming up in the near future.
