Has a 320 mm longer loading deck length.
Along with the Tata Ace Zip XL and Tata Ace Mega XL, Tata Motors will also introduce the Ace XL, a brochure of which was acquired by Autos Arena this month. The variant is expected to launch in the coming weeks.
The only detail revealed by the brochure is that the loading deck length has increased to 2,520 mm, making it 320 mm longer than the standard Tata Ace. The overall length is extended to under 4.1 m, while the width and height is likely to be identical to the Ace's 1,500 mm and 1,861 mm.
The Tata Ace XL will draw power from a 798 cc BS-IV compliant DICOR engine producing 40.2 hp at 3,750 rpm and peak torque of 100 Nm between 1,700 and 2,000 rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and can hit a top speed of 90 km/h. It has semi-elliptical leaf springs at both the front and rear, and the steering system remains mechanical.
