Subaru has launched the Subaru XV facelift and the Subaru Levorg at the 2015 Thailand Motor Expo today.
Subaru XV facelift
The Subaru XV facelift gets a sportier appearance with a new single-slat chrome hexagonal grille, boomerang-shaped LED DRLs and chrome accents for the fog lamp housing. Other notable exterior features are black lower body cladding, prominent wheel arches housing 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and aluminium-finished roof rails.
The interior sports an all-black theme with leather upping the comfort quotient. A multi-function three-spoke steering wheel and a 6.2-inch infotainment system with Starlink support along with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity enhance convenience.
Powering the Subaru XV facelift is a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated four cylinder engine generating 148 hp and 197 Nm of peak torque. The engine is coupled to a 5-speed manual or a Lineartronic CVT gearbox. The vehicle has a starting price of THB 10,98,000 (INR 20,39,266).
Subaru Levorg
The all-new Subaru Levorg has been launched at a price of THB 23,50,000 (INR 43,67,251). The word Levorg comes from combination of ‘Legacy’, ‘Revolution’ and ‘Touring’ and slots between the Impreza and Legacy in the global Subaru family.
The tourer has sporty styling with the front featuring hallmark Subaru design. The face has a chrome hexagonal grille flanked by the distinct hawk-eye headlights, chrome accents in the foglamp housing and an air scoop on the bonnet. The rear exudes sportiness with a roof spoiler and dual tail pipes.
The Levorg comes with creature comforts such as keyless entry, dual-zone climate control and push-button start. The sports tourer offers 1,446 litres of maximum luggage space.
The Subaru Levorg derives power from an all-new 1.6 litre four cylinder turbocharged Boxer engine capable of 168 hp and 250 Nm of peak torque married to a lineartonic CVT driving all four wheels via the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system.
