To expand the Rapid range in Europe, Skoda has launched the Rapid "StylePLUS" edition that introduces a host of cosmetic touches.
Using the Ambition trim as the donor car, various design, comfort and functional features have been introduced. The special edition gets a black gloss finish on the rear spoiler, housings of the exterior rear-view mirrors, on the front bumper, and doors.
The Skoda Rapid StylePLUS can be had in Denim-Blue, Corrida-Red, Rally-Green, Sprint-Yellow and Candy-White body shades. All colors have in common, two-tone 17-inch ‘Ray’ alloy wheels, in black and silver. The Rapid StylePLUS can be spec-ed with optional xenon headlights and front foglights with cornering function.
The cabin is finished in a Satin-Black and gets distinctively-shaped seats, stainless steel covers and non-slip rubber surfaces on the pedals. The steering wheel, gear stick and the handbrake are finished in leather. A piano lacquer finish on the steering wheel matches the inserts on the dashboard (photograph not available).
The infotainment system can be fitted with an optional sat nav ‘Amundsen+' feature.
The StylePLUS comes with six engine options in total - 1.2 MPI with 73 bhp, 1.2 TSI with 84 bhp and 103 bhp, 1.4 TSI with 120 bhp, and a 1.6 TDI with 88 bhp and 103 bhp.
