Skoda has issued launch invites for the much awaited Yeti to the media. The national launch of the vehicle will be held in Delhi on the 15th and deliveries should start almost immediately.
The Skoda Yeti will get a 2.0-litre common rail diesel engine belonging to the Volkswagen family currently being used on the Skoda Laura automatic and the flagship Superb. This engine generates 140bhp of power and 320Nm of torque. Power is fed through a 6-speed manual transmission and then through a fourth-generation Haldex Traction multi-plate clutch that distributes drive to all four wheels.
The feature list is almost endless for this 15+ lakh SUV. Corner function for fog lamps, hill descent control and VarioFlex seating system are a few of them.
Stay tuned for more action on the Yeti!
