The all-new Kia Soul will be released to the Korean market on the 22nd of this month and the company has started showcasing the vehicle to existing customers in the pre-launch activity at its dealerships.
Kia has announced that the car would have 18-inch alloy wheels, an advanced park assistance system, UVO 2.0 (infotainment system), contrast roof, wheel cap color options, lane departure warning, tire pressure monitoring, high-beam assist and a panoramic sunroof. All variants would be fitted either with a 1.6L petrol engine or a 1.6L diesel engine mated to an automatic transmission.
At the European-spec Soul's unveiling in Frankfurt last month, Kia had said that the Soul would have the best features in its segment, which appears to be applicable to the Korean model. The Soul is based on the Cee'd platform and has a 29% stiffer body shell. It shows improvements in qualities like comfort and space.
As for the prices, the new Soul range is positioned between 9.2 lakh rupees to 12.14 lakh rupees, in three petrol and two diesel variants.
