Toyota UK has launched the MY2017 Toyota Verso and Toyota Auris hatchbacks, which receive new updates. Both models are on sale now: the Verso costs GBP 17,995 and the Auris is priced at GBP 15,495.
The MY2017 Verso is now available in three grades: Active, Icon and Design. The top-end Design comes with 17-inch black alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, panoramic roof, part-leather upholstery, Toyota Touch 2 with Go multimedia, connectivity and navigation system. The mid-level Icon gets features like Smart Entry and push-button start, rain-sensing windscreen wipers, new seat trim and sunshades for the rear doors.
The engine lineup is left intact. Customers have a choice between a 132 hp 1.6-litre Valvematic petrol engine with six-speed manual transmission, 144 hp 1.8L Valvematic petrol engine with a CVT, and a 112 hp 1.6-litre D-4D diesel unit also with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

As for the locally-made Toyota Auris, Toyota has made their Safety Sense package as standard in all variants of the car, save for the entry-level Active grade in which it's optionally available. Other updates include new 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, optional Alcantara cabin trim, and a new exterior color choice: Tokyo Red.
