Mercedes-Benz Japan has released a limited edition to commemorate the first anniversary of the domestic release of the M-Class. The celebratory variant is branded the "ML350 BlueTEC 4MATIC 1st Anniversary Edition".
The vehicle is priced at 8.6 million yen (59.73 lakh rupees) for the Obsidian Black body color, of which just 60 units are available, and the Diamond White body color, of which 40 will be made, is priced at 8.7 million yen (60.43 lakh rupees).
Power is derived from the standard model's 6-cylinder 3.0-liter direct-injection turbo diesel engine.
The interior is all-black with "dark brushed aluminum" inserts at specific points in the seating area.
Exterior enhancements include an aero front spoiler from the "AMG styling package", side and rear skirts, privacy glass, AMG 5-spoke aluminum wheels of 20-inch measurement, and stainless steel running boards.
The interior kit is handsomely spec-ed with seat warmers, leather ARTICO/DINAMICA upholstery, AMG sports seats, AMG sports steering wheel with Nappa leather cover, and stainless steel accelerator and brake pedals.
The special edition's safety features are comprised of Mercedes's radar safety package, Active Blind Spot Assist, and Active lane keeping assist.
Buyers can also request for a 360° camera system, EASY-PACK automatic tailgate opening and closing, and powered driver seat with memory function as optional extras.
